The purpose of this workshop is to assist students with common errors in writing. The following topics will be covered: Avoiding Fragments, Run-Ons, and Comma Splices.

The University of Alabama will have a recruiter on campus each Monday to speak with students about admissions, programs, and scholarships.
In celebrating Constitution Day, a representative from the Board of Registrars will be on campus to assist students who need to register to vote.
An evening recital featuring Paul Lee and Moises Molina (cello professor at UA) to preform the Elgar Concerto. Dr. Michael Johnson, trombone and adjunct instructor at Shelton, will also be preforming to fill out the program.
The Music Department will present a Christmas Concert on Tuesday, November 30th in the Atrium of the Martin Campus. The public is invited to attend.
