ACT WorkKeys® Assessments
The state of Alabama has now adopted the National Career Readiness Certificate® (NCRC®). The NCRC® is an assessment-based credential that utilizes ACT’s WorkKeys®; this credentialing gives employers and career seekers a uniform measure of key workplace skills.
WorkKeys® is a job skills assessment system measuring “real world” skills that employers believe are critical to job success.
Students can earn the National Career Readiness Certificate® (NCRC®), APOSTC, ParaProfessional, and many other certificates by completing the assessments.
WorkKeys® can be taken at Shelton State Community College, and many components can be taken remotely through ProctorU. Equipment should be tested prior to completing a remote exam with ProctorU Test It Out.
