Shelton Singers Spring Concert

Bean Brown Theatre

Join the Shelton Singers for their Spring Concert on Tuesday, March 7, at 7:30 p.m. in the Bean-Brown Theatre. Admission to the concert is free and open to the public.

2023 Hair Show: “The Showcase”

Shelton State Community College Cosmetology’s annual hair show will be presented in the Martin Campus Atrium on Thursday, March 9, at 6:30 p.m. Admission to The Showcase is free, and all are invited to attend. For more information about The Showcase and Shelton State Cosmetology, contact Latoya Simmons at lsimmons@sheltonstate.edu.

Southeast District Drone Soccer Tournament

Martin Campus Gymnasium

SSCC’s Office of K-12 Instructional Outreach is partnering with The University of Alabama and Auburn University to host the first Southeast District Drone Soccer Tournament. The tournament will be held at the College’s Martin Campus in the Umphrey Center beginning at 9:00 a.m.  The event is free and open to the public.

Jazz Band Festival Finale Concert

The 4th Annual West Alabama High School Jazz Festival will conclude with a  finale concert featuring the Shelton State Jazz Ensemble and platinum recording artist Lou Marini, Jr.  Tickets for the finale concert are $5 and can be purchased on the Theatre Tuscaloosa site. The concert begins at 7:00 p.m.
