Shelton State Community College Foundation Invites Community to Fifth Student Investment Luncheon

February 1, 2022 – The Shelton State Community College Foundation invites you to join West Alabama community leaders and local business and industry partners for the fifth Student Investment Luncheon and Auction on Wednesday, March 30 at 11:00 a.m. on Shelton State’s Martin Campus.  Admission for the event varies according to sponsorship levels.  Individual tickets are also available.

The Shelton State Community College (SSCC) Foundation established this event in 2016 to fund scholarships for tuition, fees, and books for SSCC students.  Contributions to the luncheon and proceeds from the auction assist students in pursuing their college careers.  The 2022 Luncheon will be the first since 2019 and the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Like so many annual community events, we’ve been patiently waiting for the right time to bring back our Student Investment Luncheon,” said Shannon Chandler, Director of Development.  “We will be happy to have our dedicated community supporters return, and our scholarship students are excited to finally be part of this very special event.”

A silent auction will precede lunch, and a brief program will follow.  The event will conclude no later than 1:00 p.m.  Group and individual sponsorship options are available for purchase.
