Year-Round Pell to Be Implemented at Shelton State in Summer 2018

March 16, 2018 – Shelton State Community College will begin implementing year-round Pell grant funding in summer 2018. With careful planning, Pell grant recipients may be able to complete their degree earlier by taking advantage of this new regulation. Students are encouraged to seek assistance and explore their eligibility.

“Year-round Pell is an awesome opportunity for students who are ambitious and eager to progress to the next chapter in their lives,” said Rhonda Smith, Director of Financial Aid. “Students who take advantage of year-round Pell can reduce the length of time it takes to complete their college education by attending in fall, spring, and summer. If they are eligible and meet all requirements, students can also transfer from another college to Shelton State in the summer.”
