Registration Information

Registration for the Maymester mini term is open now through Monday, April 27, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. Classes will start on Tuesday, April 28, 2026.

 

Summer/Fall 2026 Staggered Registration Schedule 

Starting Friday, April 3, at 8:00 a.m., students with 30 or more earned hours can register for summer and fall.

Starting Monday, April 6 at 8:00 a.m., students with one (1) or more earned hours can register for summer and fall.

Starting Tuesday, April 7 at 8:00 a.m., any student already advised by their assigned advisor will be able to register for summer and fall.

 

Registration Dates and Deadlines

Registration for the Summer 2026 term begins on April 3, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. and ends on May 22, 2026, at noon. Classes will start on Monday, May 18, 2026.

 

Registration for the Fall 2026 full term begins on April 3, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. and ends on August 21, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.  Classes will start on Monday, August 17, 2026.

 

Registration for the Fall 2026 second term begins on April 3, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. and ends on October 12, at 11:59 p.m. Classes will start on Thursday, October 8, 2026.

 

Registration for the Fall 2026 Wintermester mini term begins on April 3, 2026, at 8:00 a.m., and ends on November 23, at 11:59 p.m. Classes will start on Tuesday, December 1, 2026.

C.A. Fredd Campus Courses

Students can take advantage of classes at our C.A. Fredd Campus in addition to those offered at the Martin campus. Whether you’re looking to fulfill degree requirements or try something new, our Fredd Campus provides flexible options to fit your schedule.

Maymester registration is open through Monday, April 27, 2026, at 5:30 p.m.

 

  • Full payment is due before Monday, April 27, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. There will be no additional drop/add dates for the Maymester term.
  • You must be a currently enrolled (spring term) student or apply specifically for the spring term (not summer or fall) to enroll in a Maymester course.
  • Instruction for all Maymester classes is online and will begin on Tuesday, April 28, 2026. Final exams will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2026.

Delivery Methods for Instruction

In preparing to register for courses, it is important to know the delivery methods for instruction. The table below provides additional information concerning schedule types and instructional methods. It is important to note that online, hybrid, and virtual formats require access to a computer with high-speed internet capabilities, a webcam, and a microphone.

VirtualHybridClass has specific days and times that students will meet virtually through a video conferencing platform and specific days and times that students will meet on campus. Exams may be given on campus or using the College's online test proctoring service.

Grades & Student Records

Semester Grades

Students may obtain final grades by logging into their myShelton account.

  • To access grades through myShelton, student must have a myShelton Username and Password. Once you access your myShelton account and log in, click on the “Student” tab and then click on “Student Records” tab to access grades.

Grades are not mailed. It is the student’s responsibility to check their grades. The College strongly recommends that this be done before the beginning of the next semester.

Academic History

Students may view all coursework taken at Shelton State and any coursework that has been accepted for transfer from other institutions through myShelton.
