Theatre Tuscaloosa Announces Autumn Audition Workshop

August 30, 2022 – Theatre Tuscaloosa Academy will offer a free mock audition workshop Sunday, September 18 from 1:30-4:30 p.m. in the Wilson Carr Rehearsal Hall on the Martin Campus of Shelton State Community College (9500 Old Greensboro Road).

The Triple Threat Audition Workshop is available for those age 10 and up. This mock audition workshop prepares actors for a real audition by requiring a one-minute monologue, 16 bars of a musical theatre song, and learning a small piece of choreography on-site. Dance shoes and appropriate attire are recommended for the dance portion.

Those who participate will receive feedback from Executive Producer Tina Turley, University of Alabama Head of Musical Theatre Stacy Alley, Musical Theatre professor Luvada Harrison, and accompanist Terry Moore.
