State State to Offer Summer STEAM Camps for Students Grades 3-12

April 21, 2026 – Shelton State Community College (SSCC) Workforce Development will offer STEAM Camps for students entering grades three through twelve. The camps will be held July 20-24, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on the College’s Martin Campus. The cost is $150 per student. Space is limited, and early registration is encouraged.

These hands-on, innovative experiences will offer combined learning opportunities for participants in science, technology, engineering, art, and math.

Participating students will be grouped. Forty spots are available for students entering grades 3-5. Twenty-five students will be accepted from grades 6-8, and ten students will be admitted from grades 9-12.
