Shelton State Women’s Basketball Ranked at the Top of National Poll

January 17, 2018 – For the first time in the history of the program, the Shelton State Community College Lady Bucs are ranked #1 in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division I poll. With a current record of 19-0, the Lady Bucs rank ahead of New Mexico, Gulf Coast State, Northwest Florida State, and Trinity Valley in the top five.

“I am so proud of the hard work and dedication this team has put forth so far this season,” said head coach Madonna Thompson. “Being ranked number one in the nation is a huge accomplishment and a first for our program. We still have a lot to improve upon, but it is a huge honor to be in this position.”
