Shelton State to Host Preview Event

January 19, 2018 – Shelton State Community College will host Spring Preview Day on Saturday, February 17, 2018, beginning at 10:00 a.m. on the Martin Campus. Registered participants may take the College’s placement test beginning at 8:30 a.m. The event is free to the public and all are invited to attend.

As Tuscaloosa’s community college, Shelton State provides career opportunities and a true college town experience. Opportunities are available in various technical and health services programs and transferable academic offerings.

“Preview Day allows prospective students to learn more about the exciting opportunities available at Shelton State,” said TJ Smith, Director of Recruitment. “Students are often aware of our transfer pathways, but we also have technical and health services program possibilities available for students in the West Alabama area. Our goal at this event is to showcase all these opportunities.”

Guests will be able to apply for admission to the College, receive financial aid and scholarship information, and register to win a full-tuition scholarship waiver. To register, visit sheltonstate.edu/previewday.
