Shelton State Community College Approved to Host Pre-Kindergarten Classes in Fall 2019

June 6, 2019 – Shelton State Community College (SSCC) will host two pre-kindergarten classrooms on the C.A. Fredd Campus beginning in August 2019. Part of the Alabama First Class Pre-K program, the official announcement was made earlier today by Alabama Governor Kay Ivey and the Alabama Department of Early Childhood Education.

To participate, children must be four years of age on or before September 2, 2019. Students may attend regardless of primary school zoning. Registration dates and additional information will be released in the coming days.
