Shelton State Terrific Tuesday Concert Series Welcomes Garmai Robinson

Terrific Tuesday Concert Series

April 6, 2018 – Shelton State Community College’s Terrific Tuesday Concert Series will welcome Garmai Robinson on Tuesday, April 10 at 1:00 p.m. in the Martin Campus Alabama Power Recital Hall. Admission is free and open to the public.

Garmai Robinson is a current freshman at Shelton State Community College (SSCC). She has taken piano lessons from SSCC piano instructor Lillian Roberts for the past two and a half years, utilizing the dual enrollment program before officially starting her studies at SSCC this past fall. Garmai has received superior ratings at the AMTA district and state auditions, and she was also chosen to perform in a master class with esteemed piano performer and pedagogue Ingrid Clarfield at the 2016 AMTA State Conference in Auburn, Alabama.

Garmai participated in the Intensive Piano Camp at Westminster Choir College in the summer of 2016. Garmai received the “Outstanding Piano Student” award for the past two years from the SSCC Music Department and was honored at the College’s Honors Day. She also frequently performs for her church and other local music organizations.
