Shelton State Terrific Tuesday Concert Series to Feature Jazz Combo

April 4, 2019 – Shelton State Community College’s Terrific Tuesday Concert Series will feature the College’s Jazz Combo on Tuesday, April 9 at 1:00 p.m. in the Alabama Power Recital Hall on the Martin Campus. Admission is free and open to the public.

The Shelton State Community College Jazz Combo is a small performance group. Made up of four to eight select musicians from the instrumental ensembles at Shelton State, this group performs a wide variety of music from jazz idioms. This ensemble provides entertaining renditions of songs from Dixieland through the 20^th century with an emphasis on improvisation.

Shelton State’s Terrific Tuesday Concert Series is designed to showcase a variety of repertory styles. Weekly performances are offered by guest artists as well as Shelton State faculty and students.
