Songs and Scenes from the American Theatre

April 17, 2023 – Shelton State Community College’s music and theatre departments will present “Songs and Scenes from the American Theatre” in the Alabama Power Recital Hall on the College’s Martin Campus on Tuesday, April 25 at 7:30 p.m.  The event is free, and all are invited to attend.

 

This collaborative performance will feature vocal and choral selections from musical theatre, as well as acting scenes from American theatre productions.

 

“Working cooperatively between departments is always something we enjoy doing,” shared Dr. J.F. Mark Brown, Shelton State Music Instructor.  “This event allows our students to work together and learn from one another in addition to utilizing the skills they’ve learned from their instructors.”
