Shelton State Community College’s Shelton Singers Present Broadway Showcase Benefitting Scholarship Fund

Shelton Singers Broadway Showcase Spring 2022

March 29, 2022 – Shelton State Community College’s Shelton Singers will present a Broadway showcase on Tuesday, April 26 at 7:30 p.m. in the Bean-Brown Theatre benefitting the Joy Pearson Dendy Endowed Memorial Scholarship.  Admission for the event will be $10 for adults and $5 for students.  The public is invited to attend.

 

“The Shelton Singers are looking forward to being back in Bean-Brown Theatre to present our showcase concert,” stated Mark Brown, one of the College’s music instructors and director of the Shelton Singers. “The evening will feature selections from shows including Kiss Me Kate, Waitress, The Greatest Showman, Hairspray, Rent, a Gershwin medley, and many more.  We look forward to seeing you there!”

 

All proceeds from the showcase will be donated to the scholarship fund and will benefit a deserving music student in fall 2022.
