Shelton State Community College Workforce Development Provides General Industry OSHA 10 Training December 4-5

OSHA 10 Hour Training

November 1, 2018 – Shelton State Community College Workforce Development will provide General Industry OSHA 10 training on December 4 and 5. The training, provided on Shelton State’s Martin Campus, is $225.00 per trainee.

 

The OSHA 10 training program is intended to provide entry-level general industry workers with information about their rights and employer responsibilities. Additionally, participants will learn how to file a complaint and how to identify, stop, avoid, and prevent job-related hazards on the job site.

 

“This course places emphasis on hazard identification, avoidance, control, and prevention,” said Ryan Sabbagh, Shelton State Training for Business and Industry Coordinator. “Our goal is to equip our participants with knowledge that will help them be more effective employees.”
