Shelton State Community College Workforce Development Offering One-Day Supervisory Training Course

October 27, 2021 – In partnership with Skilled Trades of West Alabama, Shelton State Community College Workforce Development will offer a supervisory training course on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, from 8:00 a.m. until noon.  The course will be taught at Skilled Trades of West Alabama at 1300 James I. Harrison Parkway.  The fee for the half-day course is $100.00.

 

Developed to improve leadership, communication, and time management skills, this course will offer cumulative skills training and soft skills training for the workplace.  Participants can expect instruction focused on communication, supervising, team building, and conflict resolution.

 

“There is incredible value in training for supervisory roles,” stated Nicole DuBose, the College’s Director of Workforce Development.  “In particular, this course offers a short and affordable way to accomplish that preparation.”
