Shelton State Community College Workforce Development Offering ACT Prep Course

March 25, 2025 – Shelton State Community College (SSCC) Workforce Development will offer a seven-week ACT preparation course on the Martin Campus beginning April 19. Subsequent sessions will be held April 26, May 3, 10, 17, 29, and June 10 and 12. All sessions will be held from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.

Participating students are required to attend all sessions.

In the course, students will learn how each section of the ACT is designed so they can approach that section with an effective strategy. They will then individually use these concepts on a practice test and participate in discussion about the questions. This practice and refining process will sharpen the student’s thinking skills for the test.
