Shelton State Community College Women’s Basketball Wins Alabama Community College Conference Championship

March 6, 2020 – Following a win against Wallace State Community College, the Shelton State Lady Bucs won the 2020 Alabama Community College Conference (ACCC) Championship.

Madonna Thompson was named ACCC Co-Coach of the Year and Region 22 Coach of the Year.

The following players were acknowledged with postseason awards:

All-Region 22

First Team – LaTascya Duff

Second Team – Latora Duff

North Division

First Team – LaTascya Duff and Latora Duff

Second Team – Thaniya Marks

The Lady Bucs continue play in Lubbock, Texas, at the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Women’s Basketball Division I National Tournament.
