JumpStart AL training is free of charge, and qualified completers will earn a $175 stipend.

“We’ve had great success incorporating this training,” noted Nicole DuBose, SSCC Director of Training for Business and Industry. “We remain excited about offering this as a free option for training, and with incentive for completion, there is no better time for employers and students to take advantage of this opportunity.”

JumpStartAL training is available for anyone interested in career in the skilled trades, including high school students, veterans, workers in existing industries, the unemployed, and the underemployed. In addition to individual training available on campus, on-site employee training is available for interested business and industry.
