Shelton State Community College to Host Second Dose Vaccine Clinic September 15

September 8, 2021 – In collaboration with the Alabama Department of Public Health, Shelton State Community College (SSCC) will host a 2nd dose COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, on the Martin Campus from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

The Vaccination Clinic is open to those who received the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine during the College’s August 25 vaccination clinic.  Those who received a first dose of Pfizer at another facility are also invited to receive their 2nd dose at SSCC. All participants will be asked to provide a photo ID and vaccination card at the time of their vaccination.

The clinic will operate on a first-come, first-served basis. No appointment is required.

NOTICE: The Pfizer booster (3rd dose) will not be given during this event.

The Vaccination Clinic is supported by the Alabama Community College System.  A recent memo states, “Due to the surplus of COVID-19 vaccinations yet to be administered and marked increase in infections in the state, we have been asked by our state health officials to host vaccination clinics at our ACCS colleges during this critical period.”
