Shelton State Community College to Host Preview Day on February 19, 2022

Preview Day 2022

January 20, 2022 – Shelton State Community College will host Spring Preview Day on Saturday, February 19, 2022, beginning at 10:00 a.m. on the Martin Campus. Check-in begins at 9:45 a.m. The event is free to the public and all are invited to attend.

 

As Tuscaloosa’s community college, Shelton State provides career opportunities and a true college town experience.  Opportunities are available in various technical and health services programs on both campuses.  Programs at the Martin Campus include air conditioning and refrigeration, business office management and technology, computerized numerical control, diesel mechanics, electrical technology, engineering graphics and design technology, nursing, industrial electronics, industrial maintenance, machine tool technology, modern manufacturing, salon and spa management, welding, and wellness.  Programs at the Fredd Campus include automotive service technology, child development, computer science, culinary arts, health information technology, medical laboratory technician, and respiratory therapy.

 

“Preview Nights are amazing opportunities for students,” said TJ Smith, Director of Recruitment. “They help provide high school students exposure to a great variety of programs that lead to careers in high demand in West Alabama.”

 

Guests will be able to apply for admission to the College, receive financial aid and scholarship information, and register to win a full-tuition scholarship waiver. To register, visit Shelton State Preview Day 2022.
