Shelton State Community College to Host Nursing Information Session at Bibb County Medical Center

May 16, 2023 – Shelton State Community College will host an information session for prospective students wishing to apply to the practical nursing (PN) program at Bibb Medical Center (BMC) in Centreville, Alabama. The event will be held Thursday, May 18, from 5:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. at 164 Pierson Avenue, Centreville, AL 35402.

SSCC Nursing Program representatives will discuss the application and selection processes and the expectations of admitted students.

The BMC PN program was launched in fall 2022 to prepare nurses in Bibb County and strengthen West Alabama’s workforce. Students admitted to the BMC PN track will attend classes and training at BMC’s newly renovated clinical space.
