January 6, 2022 – Shelton State Community College will hold a special Admit Day on Monday, January 10 from 8:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on the College’s Martin Campus.  In addition to this previously announced event, the College will now host a second Admit Day on its Fredd Campus on Tuesday, January 11 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. in Building 100.   Students who attend either Admit Day will be able to complete all parts of the admission process in a single session.

Admit Day attendees will be able to apply for admission, speak with an advisor, and register for classes.   Prospective students are asked to bring high school/college transcripts, ACT/SAT scores (if applicable), and 2019 tax returns to determine financial aid options.  Campus tours will also be available.

Although assistance will be available to those applying for financial aid through the free application for federal student aid (FAFSA), students are encouraged to complete the FAFSA application prior to Admit Day to expedite the process.

Prior to the winter holiday break, Shelton State announced the use of HEERF III funds for spring. Students will be eligible for relief payments if they are currently attending or have completed a minimum of six (6) credit hours in the spring 2022 semester as of Monday, March 28, 2022.  Eligible students will receive a relief payment of $500.00.  Pell-eligible students will receive an additional relief payment of $500.00.

Payments for eligible students will be processed and issued no later than Friday, April 15, 2022.
