The upcoming Terrific Tuesday program will feature students scheduled to represent Shelton State Community College at the Alabama Chapter of The National Association of Teachers of Singing (ALANATS) auditions on February 15 and 16 in Mobile, Alabama.

SSCC voice students will join other voice students from all over the state of Alabama in being adjudicated by voice teachers from around the state. Singers are placed into categories according to their level of study and will sing for a panel of judges. Those with the highest preliminary scores will be passed along to semi-finals and finals. Winners will be selected by a popular vote of all participating voice instructors.

Shelton State’s Terrific Tuesday Concert Series is designed to showcase a variety of repertory styles. Weekly performances are offered by guest artists as well as Shelton State faculty and students.
