Shelton State Community College Reaffirmed by SACSCOC

June 20, 2019 – At its meeting on June 13, 2019, the Board of Trustees of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) took a number of actions regarding the accreditation status of applicant, candidate, and member institutions in its region.

Shelton State Community College was reaffirmed with no additional reports required.

“I am very proud of this accomplishment,” stated William J. Ashley, Shelton State President. “It is due to the diligent work of faculty and staff members at the College and speaks to the continued progress of the Institution.”
