April 9, 2021 – Following a 71-55 win against Wallace-Selma Community College, the Shelton State Bucs won the 2021 Alabama Community College Conference (ACCC) Championship.

The Bucs continue play in Hutchinson, Kansas, at the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Men’s Basketball Division I National Tournament.
