March 4, 2022 – Following an 89-67 win against Wallace State Community College – Hanceville, the Shelton State Bucs won the 2022 Alabama Community College Conference (ACCC) Championship.

The Bucs continue play in Hutchinson, Kansas, at the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Men’s Basketball Division I National Tournament.
