Shelton State Community College Health Information Technology Hosts Free Exam Prep Courses

January 4, 2021 – Shelton State Community College’s Health Information Technology (HIT) will host two free exam preparation courses for the Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) Exam and the Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) Exam January 8-12, 2021. Sessions are open to students and the public at no charge.

 

“We are excited about hosting these free courses for our alumni as well as members of the community who are interested in preparing for these examinations,” stated Joan Wilder, the College’s HIT Director. “Both of our instructors are certified trainers, and they will base instruction on the individual needs of session attendees.”

 

Exam preparation sessions will be held on Friday, January 8 with follow-up training on Monday, January 11 and Tuesday, January 12.
