Shelton State Community College Foundation Offers Accelerated/Dual Enrollment Summer Scholarship

"College Just Ahead" Dual Enrollment Transition Day

February 8, 2022 – The Shelton State Community College Foundation is offering scholarships for summer 2022 to high school students enrolled or enrolling in the College’s accelerated high school program or dual enrollment program.  This scholarship opportunity is made possible by the success of the Foundation’s fundraiser, Wine Women & Shoes.

Applying students must have a minimum high school unweighted GPA of 3.0 and must be enrolled at Shelton State during the time that the award will be used. The award may be applied toward tuition and fees only.  A student may receive no more than 6 (six) credit hours for the summer semester.  The application deadline is Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at 11:59 p.m.

“We are very excited to be able to offer this scholarship opportunity again,” stated Shannon Chandler, the College’s Director of Development. “The dual enrollment scholarship is an excellent example of how the contributions of our community continue to enhance the lives of our students.”
