Shelton State Community College Foundation Invites You to Kick Up Your Heels and Raise a Glass at Wine Women & Shoes Fundraiser

January 17, 2019 – Break out the Manolos and the Barolos, the Jimmy Choos and those buttery Chards— – the Shelton State Community College Foundation will be hosting their first Wine Women & Shoes (WW&S) event at the Tuscaloosa River Market on Thursday, March 28, 2019, from 5:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.

An irresistible blend of fashion and compassion, WW&S events are all about putting the “fun” in fundraiser. They give women the opportunity to get glamorous with their girlfriends while enjoying incredible varietals from top winemakers––all for a good cause. (Basically, it’s the best excuse to play grownup dress up, EVER.)

The Shelton State Foundation’s inaugural event will feature wines from a list of Napa Valley Wineries, a multi-designer marketplace for shopping, and charming Shoe Guys™ serving up this season’s must-haves on silver platters—all signature attractions that make WW&S fundraisers such a swirlin’-and-stylin’ success.

In addition to shopping peep-toes while sipping Pinots, guests will enjoy a fashion show, a live and silent auction, a “Keys to the Closet” giveaway, and walk the hot pink carpet. Jalapenos and Southern Ale House will provide delicious bites to keep the energy up and exciting!

Tickets are $125.00 with all proceeds benefitting Shelton State Foundation Scholarships and supporting the mission of Shelton State Community College, which is to provide innovative and accessible learning opportunities for the community.

Founded in Napa Valley in 2005, WW&S is a fun-and-fashionable national event series that lets women put their most generous foot forward, sip to their hearts’ content, and laugh until their cheeks hurt.
