Shelton State Community College Foundation 2023 Wine Women & Shoes Fundraising Total Moving Toward Half a Million Dollars

December 6, 2023 – The Shelton State Community College Foundation hosted its fourth annual Wine Women & Shoes event on Thursday, September 21 at the Bryant Conference Center.  The current fundraising total of $420,000.00 was announced at the Foundation’s November Board Meeting, with additional support still being counted and collected.  All proceeds from the event benefit Shelton State students through scholarship opportunities and support the mission of the College.

“This event continues to put the ‘fun’ in fundraising,” said Shannon Chandler, Director of Development.  “It is impossible to articulate our gratitude to the West Alabama community members for their continued support.  Wine Women and Shoes Tuscaloosa grows from year to year, and with it, so do the opportunities we can provide for Shelton State students.  We are so grateful!”
