Shelton State Community College Esports to Compete in Playoffs

November 28, 2022 – The Shelton State Community College Esports team will compete this week in the National Junior College Athletic Association Esports (NJCAAE) fall playoffs for national recognition in two game titles. For the first time in program history, one of SSCC’s teams enters play as the number one seed.

 

On Wednesday, November 30, 2022, the College’s top seeded, undefeated Warzone Gold team, and the Warzone Black team will both compete at 6:00 p.m. They will take on teams from Mesalands Community College and Mineral Area College, respectively. Teammates for Warzone Gold are Carson Gibbs (team captain) and Clayton Postle. Teammates for Warzone Black are Sean Lindley and Trevor Wilson.

 

On Thursday, December 1, 2022, SSCC’s CoD: Gunfight team will play Highland Community College at 4:30 p.m. Team members are Carson Gibbs (team captain), Trevor Wilson, and Jaciel Ruiz.
