Shelton State Community College Dual Enrollment Orientation Sessions Begin

January 4, 2021 – Shelton State Community College’s dual enrollment program will hold orientation sessions on January 11 at 1:00 p.m. and January 12 at 5:30 p.m. First-time dual enrollment students are strongly encouraged to attend one of the available sessions for help navigating the transition between high school and college. Both sessions will be held virtually via Zoom, and registration is required.

Dual enrollment orientation sessions will cover a variety of topics ranging from time management and communication to utilizing the College’s multiple resources and platforms.

“It is important to us to prepare our new dual enrollment students,” stated Beverly Foster, the College’s Director of Dual Enrollment. “We want to provide our students with every opportunity possible for success, and we believe that fostering a strong beginning is key.”
