Shelton State Community College Dual Enrollment Application for Spring 2022 to Open October 11 with Scholarships Available

"College Just Ahead" Dual Enrollment Transition Day

October 6, 2021 – Shelton State Community College’s dual enrollment program will accept applications for spring enrollment beginning October 11 through December 1, 2021.  Additional funding has been appropriated from the legislature to support dual enrollment scholarship funds for the upcoming enrollment period.

Dual enrollment scholarships are available for STEM-related academic courses such as biology, chemistry, computer science, engineering, math, physical science, and physics.  Participating students must have a 2.5 GPA to participate in STEM-related academic work.

“I am very excited to offer these funds to our dual enrollment students,” stated Beverly Foster, the College’s Director of Dual Enrollment.  “Our primary focus remains promoting career and technical programs.  However, STEM-related academic courses do not have to be taken concurrently with an approved technical course.”
