Shelton State Community College Concert Band to Perform

November 6, 2023 – Shelton State Community College’s Concert Band, West Alabama Winds, will perform their fall concert on Monday, November 13 at 7:30 p.m. in the Atrium of the College’s Martin Campus.  Admission is free, and all are invited to attend.

Shelton State’s largest instrumental ensemble, the College’s Concert Band plays traditional and modern selections from the wind band repertoire.

“We are looking forward to sharing some fun fan favorites,” said director and music instructor Dr. Elijah Pugh.  “There is something for everyone in our lineup.”

As the Community College of the Fine Arts, Shelton State inspires and prepares the artists of tomorrow.  With scholarships available in all disciplines, students find their dreams well within their grasp. Scholarship applications for fall 2024 will be available in January.
