Shelton State Community College Bass Fishing Sports Club Members to Participate in Fishing League Worldwide Championship

Congrats Will Delaney and Hunter Porter

February 19, 2020 – Shelton State Community College’s Bass Fishing Sports Club will compete in the Fishing League Worldwide Championship in Lake County, Florida, February 26-28. The students and their coach, Neal Parker, will be available for photos and interview in the Atrium of the Martin Campus on Thursday, February 20 at 8:30 a.m.

 

The two participating student anglers are Will Delaney and Hunter Porter. Delaney and Porter qualified for this national championship in 2019 finishing second out of 235 teams representing 140 colleges and universities.

 

The mission of the Shelton State Bass Fishing Sports Club is to encourage camaraderie, sportsmanship, integrity, leadership, and conservation. Skills and knowledge are developed to create successful, competitive anglers.
