Shelton State Community College Athletes Recognized for Academic Achievement

July 3, 2018 – Student athletes at Shelton State Community College were recently acknowledged for their academic achievement in the 2017-18 academic year.

The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) honors students with one of three NJCAA All-Academic Student-Athlete Awards according to the following qualifying grade-point averages:

NJCAA All-Academic First Team: 4.00 GPA

NJCAA All-Academic Second Team: 3.80-3.99 GPA

NJCAA All-Academic Third Team: 3.60-3.79 GPA

In addition to individual student awards, Shelton State Women’s Basketball and Softball were named as 2017-18 NJCAA All-Academic Teams. Women’s Basketball earned this recognition with an overall team GPA of 3.31 and Softball with a team average of 3.40.
