Shelton State Community College Announces Upcoming Dates for Virtual Parent Chat Sessions

May 6, 2022 – Shelton State Community College (SSCC) is hosting virtual information sessions for parents of incoming students.  Upcoming Virtual Parent Chat sessions will be hosted May 12, June 9, July 14, and August 11. Each session will be held via Zoom at 6:00 p.m.  There is no fee to attend, however, participants are asked to register at Virtual Parent Chat 2022.

Back by popular demand, Virtual Parent Chat 2022 will include a variety of helpful topics including admission, dual enrollment, financial aid, and updated methods of instruction.  The discussion will close with a question/answer session in hopes of alleviating any anxiety being experienced ahead of upcoming semesters.

“This is an exciting opportunity for parents and guardians to learn more about the process of their student attending SSCC,” said TJ Smith, Director of Recruitment.  “We are dedicated to ensuring students have a seamless enrollment experience, and these information sessions have proven to be vital in that process.”
