Shelton State Community College Announces Dual Enrollment Ambassadors for 2024-25

New Dual Enrollment Ambassadors 2024-25

September 9, 2024 –Shelton State Community College is proud to announce its 2024-25 cohort of Dual Enrollment Ambassadors.  These fourteen students were selected from partnering high schools and will spend the academic year serving as mentors for current and future dual enrollment students.

 

“We are so proud of these students for stepping up in such an important way,” shared Beverly Foster, the College’s Director of Dual Enrollment. “We know from previous years how helpful it is to have students in this role, and we look forward to another successful experience with this group.”

 

The following students were selected to serve:

 

Saniaau Armour – American Christian Academy

Jareah Branch – Hillcrest High School

Estefani Delgado Mejia – Paul W. Bryant High School

Gracie Dice – North River Christian Academy

Logan Dockery – Tuscaloosa Christian School

Ryan Hodges – Brookwood High School

Hope Johnson – Brookwood High School

Christopher Knight – Northridge High School

Sadie Mancil – Hillcrest High School

Fatima Murillo Vargas – Central High School

Jade Pollard – Holt High School

Maggie Shewmake – Tuscaloosa County High School

Sherlyn Vazquez – Holt High School

Talon Whetstone – Tuscaloosa County High School
