Shelton State Community College and West Alabama Works Offering Free Job Placement in the Automotive Industry

September 12, 2018 – Shelton State Community College (SSCC) Workforce Development will host a come-and-go information session for Hale County residents interested in the automotive industry on Tuesday, September 18 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Piggly Wiggly in Greensboro, Alabama. (115 Main St, Greensboro, AL 36744) The event is free, and all are invited to attend.

 

For students concerned about minimal work experience and educational background, Shelton State can assist with securing grant funding for available options in Adult Education, Ready-to-Work basic skills training, and the Manufacturing Skills Standards Council (MSSC). These industry-recognized credentials will provide the skills and education necessary to succeed in the automotive industry.
