Shelton State Community College Ambassadors to Kick-Off Spring Service Project April 22

Bucs Bring Books - Book Drive

April 11, 2019 – The Shelton State Ambassadors will kick off their spring service project, “Bucs Bring Books: a Book Drive for Kids,” on Monday, April 22. Donations are requested for new or gently used books appropriate for grades 3-5. Drop-off locations will be available in the Martin Campus Atrium and in Fredd Campus Building 100. Donations will be accepted through Tuesday, April 30.

Though all books are accepted, a preferred list of books may be requested from Ambassador Sponsor Forrest Smith at fsmith@sheltonstate.edu. All donations will benefit Shelton State Community College’s Adopt-a-School partner, Englewood Elementary School.

The Shelton State Ambassador program provides extensive leadership training, while offering the opportunity to serve as official hosts for the College. Members work closely with the administration and faculty to convey Shelton State’s message to the community. For more information, visit sheltonstate.edu or email ambassadors@sheltonstate.edu.
