Shelton State Community College 2020 Holiday and Commencement Schedule

November 17, 2020 – Shelton State Community College will be closed Wednesday, November 25 – Friday, November 27 for Thanksgiving. The College’s regular hours of operations will resume on Monday, November 30 and will include modified holiday and commencement events.

The College’s Here Comes Santa Claus annual giving campaign will begin on November 30. Now in its tenth year, Here Comes Santa Claus is sponsored by the Shelton State Ambassadors and allows students, faculty, staff, and community members to offer assistance to those in need. Monetary donations will be accepted through Friday, December 11. To learn how to help, contact Forrest Smith at fsmith@sheltonstate.edu.

The College will honor its health information technology and respiratory therapy graduates at a drive-through pinning on Thursday, December 10 at 4:00 p.m. Though the event is closed to the public, it will be livestreamed on the College’s Facebook page.

Virtual fall graduation will be posted on the College’s Facebook page on Friday, December 11 at 11:00 a.m.

The College will be closed for the holidays Wednesday, December 23 through Friday, January 1. Regular hours of operation will resume on Monday, January 4.
