Shelton State Announces Spring Commencement Speaker and Events

April 14, 2026 – Shelton State Community College has announced dates for spring commencement events.

All events are open to the public. Ceremonies will take place in the Martin Campus Gymnasium. The location for Pre-K Graduation will be announced at a later date.

The College will welcome Joseph Marchant, NHA, as its keynote speaker for commencement ceremonies. Marchant is East Alabama Health’s executive vice president and chief integration and network development officer. Prior to joining East Alabama Health, Marchant served as chief executive officer of Bibb Medical Center in Centreville for 15 years.
