March 5, 2018 – Shelton State Community College is pleased to announce the formation of its newest student organization, the Shelton State Community College Bass Fishing Sports Club.

An initial information meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 3 at 7:00 p.m. in the Martin Campus D-Rooms.

“The mission of the Bass Fishing Sports Club will be to encourage camaraderie, sportsmanship, integrity, leadership, and conservation,” said Neal Parker, the organization’s sponsor. “Our intent is to develop the skills and knowledge needed by students to be successful, competitive anglers in tournaments with other schools.”
