Shelton Singers to Present “Still Standin” March 7 on Martin Campus

February 26, 2024 – Shelton State Community College’s Shelton Singers will present their spring concert, “Still Standin’,” on Thursday, March 7 at 7:30 p.m. in the Alabama Power Recital Hall. A tribute to contemporary pop music, the event is free, and the public is invited to attend this fun evening of popular music.

Under the direction of Dr. J.F. Mark Brown, the Singers’ concert will showcase pieces by the group as well as feature solo performances.

“Bringing our versions of today’s hits to life has allowed everyone’s creativity to flourish,’ stated Dr. Brown. “I am proud of the talent and the work involved in preparation for this concert, and I am exceedingly proud of this group of talented students.”
