Shelton Singers to Present “Songs of Flight” on February 24 & 27

February 10, 2026 – Shelton State Community College’s Shelton Singers will present their winter concert, Songs of Flight, on Tuesday, February 24 at 7:30 p.m. in the Alabama Power Recital Hall on the College’s Martin Campus and an encore performance on Friday, February 27 at 6:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church Demopolis. Both events are free, and the public is invited to attend.

Under the direction of Dr. J.F. Mark Brown, the concert will showcase students from the College’s vocal music programs.

“We’ve tremendously enjoyed preparing for Songs of Flight,” stated Dr. Brown. “This concert has something for everyone. We will highlight familiar songs while also providing opportunities for our community to see the talent represented in the Shelton Singers.”
