Local Organizations and Groups Invited to “Connect” with Shelton State Students

August 27, 2021 – Local organizations and groups are invited to participate in Shelton State’s CONNECT event.  Designed to connect students with community resources and organizations, this year’s opportunity for local groups to CONNECT with Shelton State students will be Wednesday, September 8 in the Martin Campus Atrium from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.


There is no fee to participate in this year’s event.  However, registration is required to reserve a space for groups or organizations.  Lunch will not be provided, but a food truck will be available on campus from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on the day of the event.


“This annual event has grown to the point that we are hosting two days – one for our campus groups and a separate day for our community partners,” said NorQuina Rieves, Student Engagement Coordinator.  “We are excited about having members of our community on campus on September 8, and we look forward to another successful event alongside them.”


To register for a table, visit CONNECT 2021.  The deadline for vendor registration is September 1, 2021.
