Shelton State Community College Names Jason Moore as Dean of Workforce and Economic Development
August 15, 2018 – Shelton State Community College has named Jason Moore as the College’s Dean of Workforce and Economic Development.
A graduate of Shelton State, Moore brings twenty-one years of varied experience in manufacturing, teaching, and college leadership. Over the last seventeen years, he has served Shelton State Community College in numerous positions including Machine Tool Technology Instructor, Associate Dean of Technical Services, Associate Dean for Business and Industry Training, and in his most recent role, Associate Dean for Corporate Programs.
As Dean of Workforce and Economic Development, Moore will be responsible for the overall operation of the College’s Technical Services Division, Corporate Programs, and workforce development (Training for Business and Industry). Additionally, Moore will lead community engagement initiatives relating to developing a workforce.

Moore will begin serving as Dean of Workforce and Economic Development on September 1, 2018.
