Shelton State Community College Provides Maymester Course Options

April 6, 2020 – In addition to traditional summer classes, Shelton State Community College will offer Maymester, an online, two-week mini-term May 6, 2020 – May 22, 2020. Registration for Maymester will coincide with the opening of registration for summer classes on April 17, 2020.

Maymester’s online schedule of classes will include options in art history, medical terminology, business, economics, literature, nutrition, mathematics, music, orientation, science, and psychology. A complete list of classes is available at sheltonstate.edu/maymester.

“We are excited to offer another class scheduling option for our students,” said Joye Jones, Dean of Instruction. “Maymester will allow students to focus heavily on one subject for a shorter period of time and is a great option for those who cannot dedicate several months of study to a course.”

Space for Maymester is limited, and interested students are encouraged to register early.
